West African influences

AkoSlice is a Clayton County, Georgia-based activist and musician. His music is a mash-up of melody, raps, West African influences, and vulnerable poetry.

He is a schizophrenic black man with the experience to be a light to others through his music and online presence.

Off The Grid Academy, a production company and development institution dedicated to teaching adults life-sustaining trades, was founded by Ako. 

He is also a co-founder of "CINCO DAY," an Atlanta-based monthly art/performance show that has been running since 2016.
