Infinite Potential, also known as IP, has made a name for himself in Alberta's hip-hop scene and internationally. As a member of two legendary Calgary hip-hop crews (Endangered Species and NWNB reinvented as Tedz Rocket), IP helped pioneer a scene that is now seeing Dragon Fli Empire and Deezuz chart and tour nationally.

In 1989, after being introduced to hip-hop by a classmate who had moved from Jamaica to Canada, IP fell in love with the culture of breakdancers, beatboxers, turntablists, emcees, and graf writers. Starting with intricate freestyles, IP grew as an artist by honing his skills in MC battles, entertaining crowds at house parties, and performing and recording with well-known Canadian and US hip-hop MCs such as Moka Only, Jeff Spec, Rich Kidd, Nohow, Main Flow, and Lucky I Am (living legends)

IP is also a fantastic sample-based producer who takes pride in creating heavy soundscapes that make you nod your head. With over 20 years of experience, IP guarantees something dope behind the boards for his own songs or those of other artists with whom he collaborates. He currently uses Maschine and draws inspiration from producers such as DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Diamond D, The Alchemist, J-Dilla, Nottz, Madlib, and The Beatnuts.
