It’s in You, Not on You.

Producer O's latest EP "Midnight Journey" is a project he used to just cruise around with the homies out in the bay area in 2013 at night.

“I guess you can look at it as a little "homesick" project cause I kept reminiscing about home while making it.”

The main message Producer O gives his fans is to keep working on your sound to perfect it. Try different things and don't be afraid to explore new sounds and ideas. But most importantly, don't get motivated by money. It WILL come.

“To be real with you, it's just to make myself feel good. I create the type of music that I like and if you feel what I put out then feel free to come along for the ride.”

His sound varies. Starting out in the early 2000s, O was surrounded by and a bit influenced by the "Gangsta Grillz" era and was making trap music.

“I eventually went over to boom bap cause I was so influenced by 9th Wonder and from years of finding my own sound, I now make lofi and a bit of experimental hip hop.”

Big O’s musical journey pretty much just happened. Different cities, states, countries and continents molded his way of thinking and helped shape the sound he has.
