From The Prisons to The Streets, Titus Thomason
Titus Thomason, the owner of Treasured Thoughts LLC, was raised in Hudson County in NJ. He spent many years working at a jail, where he helped and encouraged inmates to turn their lives around. Through his work with the inmates, he realized that many of these grown men were once little boys who had experienced trauma at a young age. This realization inspired him to work towards helping children at a young age so that they can grow up to be thriving young men.
His focus is primarily on youth aged between 12 to 17 years old. My objective is to guide, challenge and educate them on how to think critically, rather than react impulsively. I utilize various techniques, such as Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and Therapeutic Community Methods, to teach them about the 14 domains of Social Development, Personal Development, Community Participation, and how to comprehend the drug and criminal lifestyle.
Titus has worked in the community and with organizations such as Blesc and Haven, alongside many other agencies, to raise awareness about the importance of addressing childhood trauma. As the owner of his own business, he strives to not only be a voice for his community but also to lead others on the path to success.
Through Treasured Thoughts LLC, Titus provides mentoring and coaching services to individuals who may have experienced trauma in their lives. He believes that everyone has the potential to succeed and that with the right guidance and support, anyone can achieve their goals. Titus is committed to helping his clients overcome their past traumas and to build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
